Keshav’s compositions are in the vein of the growing progressive jazz movement, characterized by shifting time signatures, complex rhythms and unusual harmonies. He brings with him an all-star quintet consisting of Santa Cruz native sons Ben Flocks (saxophone), Sam Copperman (bass), and Sam Kellerman (drums), as well as longtime friend and collaborator Miles Serber (piano).
