More Information
John Scofield’s guitar mastery has been a jazz mainstay since the late 70’s and shows no signs of slowing down. A masterful improviser, his music crosses many genres and can fall anywhere between post-bop, funk edged jazz, and R&B. He’s recorded over 30 albums (including some modern classics) as a leader and as a collaborator with the likes of Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden, Eddie Harris, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Bill Frisell, Brad Mehldau and many others. This trio performance features long-time band-mates Steve Swallow on bass and Bill Stewart on drums. |
